Christmas is coming, and while everybody is getting ready for the holidays, the country is immersed in a peculiar atmosphere. An abandoned farm in the countryside is on fire. A children's choir is singing Christmas carols at school. In a museum, a woman is arguing with her ex-husband on the phone. A young girl in a living room is trying to persuade her grandma to give virtual reality a try. Through dozens of scenes, Echo sketches a critical, yet kind portrait of modern society.
