Festival guide

The Prague International Film Festival – Febiofest traditionally guarantees high-quality screenings in cinemas that accommodate all film formats and also ensure that all festival-goers enjoy supreme comfort.

This year the hub of all festival events is once again the modern multiplex Cinema City Slovanský dům in the centre of Prague.

The festival screenings take place in seven of the cinema’s auditoriums for the entire duration of the festival (28 April to 4 May).

From 21 to 28 April, an information booth and cash desk will be open in the atrium from noon to 7 pm.

There is also a chill-out zone with the following opening hours:

29 and 30 April, from 11.00 am to 8 pm

1 to 4 May, from noon to 8 pm

Some of the festival sections, masterclasses, and other accompanying events will also be hosted at Kino Pilotů in Prague-Vršovice, Ponrepo in Prague 1, the Edison Filmhub, which is housed in the renovated original functionalist space of the Edison Transformer Station near the Jindřišská Tower, and the H55 Leisure Time Centre in Prague-Hloubětín.

From 29 April to 1 May, the VR Cinema section, featuring 11 noteworthy virtual reality projects, will find a home at Café Vzlet in Prague-Vršovice. The Industry Section is housed at the Hybernská Campus, a centre for culture, innovation, science, and education.
