Kryštof Hádek (1982) is the youngest son of documentary maker Jana Hádková. He became famous as one of the two leads in the film Dark Blue World (2001) by Jan Svěrák. He attended the state conservatory in Prague before studying drama at LAMDA in the UK. On his return to the Czech Republic he appeared in the pictures Experts (2006) and Bitch’s Diary (2007) and in the wine-making comedy The Grapes (2008) and its sequel The Grapes 2 (2009). His performance in Tomáš Mašín’s 3 Seasons in Hell earned him a Czech Lion award, while he was named Best Actor at the Karlovy Vary IFF for The Snake Brothers (2015).
