This six-part miniseries with Bear Grylls examines in great detail all the possible ways how animals manage to survive in the most hostile parts of the planet. The climate is getting increasingly cruel and less stable all over the world. Animals must face stronger and stronger wildfires, blizzards, rainstorms and droughts. For some species, the challenge is too tough, but it represents a new opportunity for others. New recording technologies used during the shoot provide a detailed view on the transforming planet.
