“LOST IN PARADISE” OPENING NIGHT

ANOTHER OPENING CEREMONY FOR A NEW FILM AT THE 28TH PRAGUE IFF – FEBIOFEST: THE RED CARPET BELONGED TO A DELEGATION OF FILMMAKERS WHO ARE BEHIND “LOST IN PARADISE”.

The partly autobiographical debut feature by Fiona Ziegler Lost in Paradise is inspired by her own experience of living “between two worlds”. It is also the first ever Swiss-Czech co-production film. The protagonist Evžen was played by film director and actor Ivan Pokorný, who spent part of his life as an émigré in Austria and Germany. Many other important personalities from the Czech and Swiss cultural scenes joined him in the cast: Dominique Jann, Hana Vagnerová, Andri Schenardi, Vratislav Brabenec, Matyáš Řezníček, Robert Nebřenský, and others.
