Rasmus Kloster Bro (Denmark) began his career as an assistant director for the well-known political series Borgen (2010), which was also screened on Czech television. His filmography includes three short films that he also wrote – about fishermen, a gypsy wedding, and a New Year's party. Cuttinghead is his feature debut and he will introduce it at Febiofest on 29th March. The catastrophic film set at a metro construction site was developed during the Danish Film Institute's Skitsen programme where filmmakers who are just starting out can freely develop their primary idea for a feature film. The screenplay for his film came to life on the basis of research shooting during a regular metro construction. (Northern Lights)
