Born in Germany and alternating between his home country and Austin, Texas, Günther has first drawn attention to his work with his short film Ende einer Strecke (2005) that received the German award for rising talent First Steps. He also celebrated success with his film Houston (2013) that featured at the Sundance festival.
At the 28th Prague IFF – Febiofest, Bastian Günther will present his third feature film One of These Days that premiered at Berlinale last year.
