A native of Bulgaria, she helps Amnesty International's Czech branch with the creation of campaigns to help victims of human rights violations. Her responsibilities include preparing a letter-writing marathon in support of people prosecuted, imprisoned, or persecuted for their political beliefs, religion, or ethnicity. Her motto: It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.
