Peter is a priest living in the picturesque peninsula of Lustica. Left by his wife, he is alone to look after his senile mother and rebelling teenage son, contemplating whether God has also left the world, or if He's simply become indifferent. Peter soon also gets into a conflict with the superstitious villagers who try to chase him away in the name of rich investors. The bittersweet comedy drama was Monte Negro's submission for the Oscars.
