In a fictional fenced-in sports field, people pass by who have no names – just numbers. Their lives are overseen by referees, and a great god bearing the number Zero watches over them all. A dystopian vision based on a play written by Oleh Sentsov just before he was imprisoned by the Russian regime.
The Ukrainian director attracted attention with his debut Gamer (2011). In 2012 he began work on his film Rhino.
