In 2000, five Cubans who worked as spies in the US were condemned to sentences ranging from 15 years to life in prison. Until then, they had led the double life of honest Americans and agents passing information to the Cuban government. Filled with deceit, false identities and coded messages, this suspenseful documentary is based on unique archival footage and exclusive testimony from the members of the “Cuban Five” themselves, vividly recounting their recruitment, dangerous espionage missions, detention, and trial.
