Seventeen-year-old Julia got pregnant without planning it and now wants to have an abortion. She is helped by a 40-year-old architect who also runs a creative workshop for young people. The empathetic woman who is supposed to be a moral authority finds herself in a complicated position when the unhappy girl finds a friend and a substitute mother in her. The intimate film about the courage to step out of a prescribed role confronts the heroines and the audience with a situation with no easy way out.
