Veteran Serhiy suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder. After his brother takes his life, Serhiy starts working for a volunteer organization which exhumes the bodies of war victims. Here he meets Katya, who brings new energy into his life. Director Vasyanovych outlines a dystopian vision of a world in which Ukraine has won the war with Russia, once again owns the territory of Crimea and the Donbas but must build a wall on the border. He frames everything in greyed static images, works with suggestive sound, and used non-actors to achieve maximum authenticity.
