Vjeko is a university teacher whose beloved spouse passed away. He has only one joy left – night strolls through Zagreb in make-up and women's clothing. When a gang of hooligans attack Vjeko, he and his dying father are taken in by nurse Maja, a neighbor of Vjeko's ramshackle house. And thus intersect the lives of three people who share mutual hatred, yet depend on each other.
