The 26th edition of the Prague IFF – Febiofest begins in Prague on 21 March.

PRAGUE

Every day from 21 to 29 March 2019 it will deliver not only a large number of films but also encounters with noteworthy guests, culinary evenings and special events. 

Festival places in Prague: multiplex CineStar Anděl, CineStar Černý Most, Ponrepo Cinema of the National Film Archive, Cinema of Municipal Library of Prague.

From 1 to 18 April the festival will continue in other Czech cities and towns.

FILM PROGRAMME

We will publish the films selected of the programme online on 7 March and on the festival’s mobile app. A printed version of the programme will be available from 8 March at the information stand at the CineStar Anděl multiplex. The programme costs CZK 49.

advance sales

Advance ticket sales for individual screenings begin at noon on 8 March at the CineStar Anděl box office (during advance sales it will be open from 12 pm to 10 pm; during the festival from 10 am to 10 pm). Ticket sales begin at CineStar Černý Most cinema on 21 March. Festival passes are possible to get at noon on 7 March.

Online sales and via the mobile app will be launched at noon on 8 March.

INFO STAND

We will be glad to answer your queries at the info stand by the entrance to the CineStar Anděl cinema. The info stand will be open during advance ticket sales from 8 March to 20 March from 12 pm to 10 pm daily and then during the festival itself from 21 March to 29 March from 10 am to 10 pm (weekdays) and 9 am to 10 pm (weekend).

TICKETS AND FESTIVAL PASSES

Festival passes are intended for film and festival fans. They serve for several days and deliver a number of advantages, including reduced ticket prices for films and events in the OFF accompanying programme. Enjoy the benefits of one of three types of pass. Festival passes cost CZK 699 for three days, CZK 999 for five days and CZK 1,699 for nine days. Festival passes are valid for the CineStar and cinema Ponrepo of National Film Archive. Festival pass is not valid for the cinema of the Municipal Library of Prague. 

The regular price of tickets for screenings is CZK 99. 

By purchasing a ticket for CZK 139 for screenings marked Charity Partnership Screening you contribute the amount of CZK 40 to the NaFilm National Film Museum, which opened to the public on 15 January. You can buy the tickets of the Charity Partnership only at the info stand of Febiofest at CineStar Anděl. The on-line sale of the tickets of the Charity Partnership is not possilble online. 

Advance sales for the Culinary Cinema section are already underway and tickets are still available for CZK 1,190. Choose from three film and culinary evenings.

Films in the Culinary Cinema section are screened at the CineStar Anděl cinema and followed by exclusive dinners prepared by famous chefs and served at the Delight restaurant in the adjacent hotel Andel’s by Vienna House Prague.

OFF accompanying programME

The 26th edition of the festival will deliver the attractive OFF programme of accompanying events. 

Merchandising

Festival merchandising can be also purchased at the CineStar Anděl multiplex from 8 March.
