Movie synopsis: Formula One combines the dizzying speed of machines, adrenaline, tension and the admiration of beautiful women. On the track, a fraction of a second may mean stardom or crushing defeat, and a single tiny mistake may have calamitous consequences. Still, the desire to win trumps fear, and two superb drivers, James Hunt and Niki Lauda, want nothing less than victory. Their mutual rivalry both on the track and in their personal lives keeps pushing them toward better performances, to the very edge of the possible. Yet only one can be the winner. Directed by Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind, The Da Vinci Code), the biographical drama of two sports legends offers not only magnificent acting performances, but also breath-taking atmosphere.
