Movie synopsis: Nicholas (James McAvoy) has graduated from a medical school and his utmost desire is to get the hell out of the sleepy town which he'd grudgingly called home. He spins the globe and points his finger to where fate will bring him adventure – and the target destination becomes Uganda of the1970’s, which is governed by the dictator Idi Amin (Oscar-winning Forest Whitaker). The charismatic ruler declares himself the king of Scotland, he gentlemanly offers sexual services to the British queen, and is accused of crimes against humanity and the genocide of his opponents. After a random meeting, Nicholas becomes his personal doctor and advisor, and lives the dream in his palace until the true nature of Idi Amin's brutal rule destroys it.
