Kaurismäki's Muse, Actress Kati Outinen Will Pay Us a Visit

Anna Katriina Outinen is a Finnish actress born in 1961. Though she is currently working as a professor at the Theatre Academy in Helsinki, she will take a vacation at the end of March and visit Febiofest in Prague. You are very welcome to join her.

You might recognize her unmistakable face from the films of Finnish director and screenwriter, Aki Kaurismäki, especially from Hamlet Goes Business or Take Care of Your Scarf, Tatiana. In 2002, at Cannes, she won the Award for Best Actress for the film The Man Without a Past.

Kati Outinen is also well known in Czech cinematography. She starred in the Czech-Finnish film Clowns from Viktor Tauš and later on was nominated for the Czech Lion for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

Why should you look forward to seeing Kati?

Viewers can meet Ms. Outinen at the screenings of her older films as well as at the premiere of her latest film, April Fools within the Nordic section of the festival, the Northern Lights.

Together with Kati Outinen we would like to invite you to Cinestar Anděl where the 21st edition of IFF Febiofest will take place between March 20th to 28th!
