Febiofest donated 32,000 Crowns to The Club of Cystic Fibrosis Patients

At the Closing Ceremonies, Febiofest donated the proceeds from a series of six screenings to The Club of Cystic Fibrosis Patients.

This civic association takes care of people with this severe, and unfortunately incurable, disease, particularly affecting the respiratory and digestive system. Children with cystic fibrosis are called “salty kids” because afflicted children have markedly saltier sweat.

The 32,000 crowns will go toward purchase of inhalers, catheters and masks that will help enhance the lives of the patients. "Some of the best films came to benefit a worthy cause. To all the viewers who helped us, we say a sincere thank you," says Festival President Fenič.
