Movie synopsis: Adam is a university history professor. His days consist of a repetitive routine of lectures, evenings with his girlfriend, and sleep. When his colleague recommends a film to him, Adam decides to watch it one evening and sees his doppelganger – the actor Anthony St. Claire. From that moment, Adam is obsessed with desire to seek the actor and contact him. The strange events triggered by his effort, turn his life upside down. After the success of Prisoners, this grim thriller presents the second collaboration between Jake Gyllenhaal and the Canadian director Denis Villeneuve.
