Wilcox is one of those people operating outside all social norms. He wanders the landscape along abandoned paths and nameless fields in an effort to find or create his own inner order. He perceives himself partly as a deserter and delinquent existing outside any society, as he voluntarily turned his back on it. He's an adventurer with a will to live, silently roaming around on the search for a place where he can settle down and find both internal and external freedom.

Denis Côté

The director, screenwriter and producer is one of the most distinctive Canadian filmmakers. He enchanted critics worldwide already with his short films, and his live-action feature films are regularly included in major international festival selections. His debut Radisson earned him a Golden Leopard at the Locarno IFF and his three following films were nominated for many awards at Berlinale.
