Mountaineer Klára Kolouchová was the first Czech woman to climb the world's three highest peaks. In 2017, she reached the top of Mt. Everest. In 2019, she climbed the holy mountain of Kanchenjunga and the second highest mountain in the world, K2. She managed to conquer the K2 only during her third attempt. The circumstances of the whole expedition were documented by director Jana Počtová, who reached as high as the base camp and overcame 140 km and a 2,000-m elevation difference.
The director and screenwriter has worked for many Czech film festivals. She has cooperated on projects for the People in Need organization, and on Czech Television's series and shows. In terms of her auteur work, she got famous with Generation Singles, a documentary popular at Czech as well as international festivals.
