Love actually producer Duncan Kenworthy to attend Febiofest

Attending Febiofest will be the British film and television producer Duncan Kenworthy, who is responsible for such works as the cult UK comedies Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill and Love Actually. He began his career in New York in the 1970s. Since the 1980s, he has been working in London and has produced films and TV programs that have earned him five BAFTA awards, three Emmy awards, an Oscar nomination and three Golden Globe nominations. His latest work as producer is the British drama The Pass. It depicts three nights in the life of a 19-year-old Premier League player, revealing the problems and pitfalls a professional footballer has to face if he is to come out as gay in the world of sport, where public image is paramount. The Pass will be shown as part of Febiofest’s traditional LGBT section, freshly renamed Queer Now.
