Film buffs will have the chance to watch a digitally restored version of a classic film exclusively at Febiofest

Blue Velvet

This year, film buffs will have the chance to watch a digitally restored version of a classic film exclusively at Febiofest. The organisers have announced a public poll in which everybody can become a festival programmer for a moment and decide on a film they would like to watch on the big screen. The selection includes seven films that never get old and whose greatness in fact increases with every viewing. Voting is possible online here  until February 1 and the selection comprises: Fargo, Blue Velvet, The Passenger, Purple Rain, Mad Max, O Lucky Man! and The Way We Were. The winning film will be provided to Febiofest by the international distribution company Park Circus, which has been a pioneer in making classic and cult films available in digital form.
