The French film and television actress Maryne Cayon was born in the city of Porto-Vecchio in Corsica in 1996. She was first cast in a feature film by French director Thierry de Peretti, who was looking for an amateur actress for his debut Apache, which is set around Porto-Vecchio. She then appeared in a number of supporting roles in films and on TV, the most noteworthy of which was as Manon in the three-part miniseries 3 x Manon. Most recently she played alongside Daphné Patakia as one of the two lead characters in Tony Gatlif’s latest picture, 2017’s Djam.
