Movie synopsis: A disparate group of refugees linger in an improvised reception centre in the centre of Brussels, waiting for their asylum to be approved or denied. Bipul, an amnesiac found at the airport, struggles through the Babylonian hodgepodge of languages, absurdly Kafkaesque bureaucracy, and the strangely calm limbo of uncertainty about one's future. Since the authorities don't know what to do about him, he tries to help as an interpreter for his new friends. In the meantime, Kurdish Mahsun hopes to marry a Belgian citizen, Lidia from Kazakhstan dreams of London, and the improvised community is getting ready for Christmas in this tragically grotesque, politically incorrect and authentically powerful drama.
