Movie synopsis: 15-year-old Elliot and his mother Beatrice are packing the contents of their remote holiday house in the south of France, before it is sold off. With the end of his parents’ dysfunctional marriage imminently on the horizon, and struggling with his burgeoning sexuality, withdrawn Elliot feels alienated from his anguished mother, escaping into his own world. He scribbles poetry in the local bar and seeks solace walking in the nearby woods, where one day he stumbles upon nonchalant French teen Clément. As he forms an unlikely friendship with him, Elliot will have to confront his desires, as well as his relationship with his mother, in this delicate story of sexual awakening, family confrontation, and personal transformation.
