Movie synopsis: Thirteen-year-old Eini lives with her violent father far away from people because the world is a dangerous place. Moreover, according to the father, Eini with her fragile voice, adult and serious stare and bloodied nose, is also dangerous. Eini reads letters in their dark cottage, tells stories about her grandmother and her adventures, which are both terrifying and fairy-tales, and brings them to life through dolls and puppets animated by Eini's imagination. The thriller's powerful atmosphere and magic realism offer a unique web of live-action passages of a psychological horror about a dysfunctional family from the girl's perspective, and the animated legends which build the personal history essential for Eini's rebellion in the present.
