Movie synopsis: An Australian pilot crashes in the middle of a rain forest when his aircraft is shot down during the Japanese invasion of 1942. He must survive in the hot, humid jungle and escape the Japanese soldiers who might be lurking behind the bushes. The environment of the forest, fully present in the film's soundtrack, reflects the protagonist's psychological transformation. The tall trees provide shelter, but they also hide numerous unpredictable dangers. When the main character meets a Chinese soldier, he first considers him an enemy, but eventually, they begin to communicate with gestures and signs as they don't know a common language. The debuting director wished to keep the experience authentic and the film is therefore not translated into other languages.
