Febiofest enters Liberec and then Karlovy Vary

Febiofest in Liberec
From Friday,  April 4th through Sunday, April 6th, several films from Prague Febiofest move to Liberec.

In the Cinestar multiplex, halls 1 and 2 you’ll be able to watch 8 films from five of the festival's sections: New Europe Competition, World Cinema Panorama, Northern Lights & Special Screenings


The opening film of the Liberec program will be the August Fools. Note: Opening Night is by invitation only).

August Fools, a comedy by Finnish director Taru Mäkelä, was made as a Czech co-production and is set in Helsinki in 1962. Elsa, from Finland, meets the love of her past, Jan, whom she considered already dead. Note: August Fools is not English Friendly.

Actor Petr Svoboda will launch Febiofest in Liberec. After the opening ceremony (by invitation only) the film August Fools will have a public projection.

Febiofest in Karlovy Vary
Febiofest returns to Karlovy Vary from Saturday, April 5th through Monday, April 7th, in the Hotel Thermal.

There will be films from four sections of Febiofest Prague: New Europe Competition, World Cinema Panorama, Balkan Rythms & Special Screenings

The opening film of the Karlovy Vary program will be August Fools
