Movie synopsis: Mateusz is diagnosed as mentally deficient while he actually suffers from Cerebral Palsy. The incorrect diagnosis in his childhood has caused a difficult life. According to his doctor, he will never be able to communicate, as he is vegetable. Yet Mateusz is aware of his surroundings, and in a very specific way. For example, he knows that life is worth living at least for such miracles as stars and female breasts. The role of disabled Mateusz is compellingly portrayed by Dawid Ogrodnik, the child protagonist is played by Kamil Tkacz. Maciej Pieprzycy's film was inspired by a true story. Not only did the film win at the main category at the Montreal Film Festival, it also received the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury and became the most popular film of the festival's viewers.
