Movie synopsis: Twenty-seven-year-old Lou had no idea that she still had any grandparents. When her mother tells her that her grandfather has just died, the rational and reserved girl goes to his funeral. After meeting grandma Frida, she decides to stay with her in the country. Even the manifestations of her social phobia start to decrease, but it is Frida who needs psychological encouragement as she copes with the death of the love of her life with difficulty in a nontraditional way. The romantic tragicomedy observes human relationships with slight mischief and refers to the genre without unnecessary embellishment. Maximilian Hult as a debuting director and scriptwriter proves his narrative skills with an attention to detail.
Awards and Nominations: Pusan IFF (2013) – Audience Award * Mannheim-Heidelberg IFF (2013) – Prize of the Ecumenical Jury
