Film description: A bus full of women sets out for a three-hour journey through the Lebanese desert towards the prison. All of them are going to visit their men, every one with a different aim. One woman has taken divorce papers with her, another woman only wants to see her husband who was arrested on their wedding day, and yet another woman carries a gun for her husband, who works as a prison warden. The journey is interrupted by a shot through the driver’s head, and the three women are forced, in the middle of the parched and dry land, to find their way together. The journey to civilization twines around abandoned cars and empty houses. The director in her debut combines dream-like scenes with a realistic portrait of the unending desert.
