Věra a Tim jsou úspěšní mladí lidé, kteří žijí v současné Moskvě. Jejich životy jsou naplněny nejen láskou, ale i „symboly“ moderního života v kapitalismu – přebytkem, stresem, konzumem a úzkostí. Vše se změní jednoho večera, kdy Tim nechtěně zraní Uloomjiho, mladého dělníka z Kalmycka. Uloomji je nespoutaný a velmi vyzývavý, je jiný než Timiho současná partnerka. Mezi muži záhy propukne vášnivý vztah. Věra jen s neochotou vstoupí do tohoto bizarního milostného trojúhelníku a snaží se pochopit změněné chování a touhy svého partnera. Tebe miluji je jeden z mála ruských filmů, který významněji tematizuje homosexualitu.

Anotace k režisérovi: Oba pocházejí z prostředí ruské alternativní a experimentální filmové školy Paralelní kinematografie (Paralelnoje Kino), kde vyučovali legendární bratři Alejnikovi. Od roku 1997 vytvořili mnoho krátkých filmů a videoinstalací, které byly prezentovány například na festivalu krátkých filmů v Oberhausenu nebo v Anthology Film Archive v New Yorku. V roce 1999 byl jejich krátký film Bruner´s Trial (Brunerův soud) zakoupen Muzeem moderního umění v New Yorku. Film Tebe miluji (2004) je jejich celovečerní debut.
